Is a meeting room without ventilation a good idea?
We believe that most meetings creates little value and reduces productivity. We rather believe that progress is generated through intense work and quick informal business discussions in small groups.
Therefore - in our office - we have one meeting room. For this room we found a great table and 12 comfortable chairs that matched our profile.
We put these into a small room with no windows and no air ventilation (except from the door in) No screens, poor wifi, weak mobile signals and where the headache comes creeping at you after 30 minutes. This is a meeting for quick decisions and effective discussions. After 40 minutes you definitely want out, otherwise you might never get out.
Is this a good idea or a little too brutal?
